John has had a crazy long career that includes hotel and restaurant management, as well as high tech. He is a professor in the Culinary Arts department at DVC, where he teaches farm-to-table and also wine courses. Plus he teaches at UC Berkeley in the entrepreneur program, and MBA courses at Universidad de San Andres in Buenos Aires (it’s a long story…) He co-founded Rodgers Ranch Urban Farm in Pleasant Hill with Marian Woodard, where he is the human tractor, the MacGyver and the irrigation dude.
